A video designed to introduce the concept of critical thinking. Funny and “silly” but an effective hook for students as it positions itself outside what they might have been expecting re presentation. Gve the kids an activity to do at the second viewing. (You will understand why it will need more than one viewing after you have seen it!).
Follow it with this clip and discuss the question (small groups then class) : What came first, the chicken or the egg? (Have a couple of observers note how the groups “thought” their way through the question.
After this, you can move onto other class activities etc and revisit the concept at appropriate times. (discussion, journal etc etc)
